Anti-Hunger:

• Increase funding for emergency food programs.

• Enact a universal health care program for all New Yorkers, not just children.

• Support State funding of public education up to the original guidelines of the New York State Court of Appeals.

• Keep death penalty out of New York, restore Higher Education  in Prisons.

Campaign Finance Reform:

• Implement public financing of state election campaigns.

Taxation reform:

• Restore progressivity to state income tax system; identify and close nonproductive tax “loopholes.”

Welfare:

• Increase the welfare grant
